The Complete Works of Shakespeare [Abridged]

It’s all here, with large doses of clowning, slapstick, hip-hop, and some current affairs thrown in for good measure. This irreverent, hilarious, and lightning-paced overview of the greatest plays of all time will have you rolling out of your seat and jumping in the aisles.

From August 11th to 16th, Melbourne’s own Rough and Tumble Theatre Company will launch its 2009-2010 season with the spectacular comedy: "The Complete Works Of Shakespeare (Abridged)”. The production will be staged at The Paris Cat Jazz Club, 6 Goldie Lane Melbourne CBD, where the atmosphere is ideal for this offbeat convergence of the classics.

In this tongue-in-cheek, fun-filled theatre experience, Fi Parrey, Jack Richardson and Kieran Bullock will attempt to compress the complete works of The Bard into approximately an hour and forty minutes of outrageous hilarity. Come and be a part of what promises to be a satisfying evening of storytelling at it’s wildest.
